After-School Activities

The Lincoln After School Activities Program offers Lincoln School students a range of after school courses, workshops, and special events. The Program is fully supported by tuition and admission fees paid by participants and is run under the auspices of the Lincoln Extended Day Program. Fees defray the cost of instructors, materials (unless otherwise stated), administrative costs, and liability insurance.

Grades K -- 6th

Wednesday, April 4th, 12:45 – 2:00pm
One Fun Teacher

A laugh out loud show with magic and juggling about the science of recycling that will explore ways that any child can do their part to keep our planet green!
Location – Auditorium

Thursday, April 12th, 12:45 – 2:00pm
Debbie O’Carroll

She uses stage magic, physical comedy, and lots of audience participation to acquaint her audience with the social structure of a honeybee colony. All the kids will learn how to do a magic trick to take home to amaze their friends and families.
Location -- Auditorium

Wednesday, April 25th, 12:45 – 2:00pm
Creature Teachers

They will have 8-10 animals from all over the world for the kids to see and talk about. From alligators to toucans, this program is exciting, educational and fun!
Location – Auditorium

Thursday, May 3th, 12:45 – 2:00pm
Quartet of Happiness

The Quartet of Happiness makes jazz music more accessible through theatrics and interactive games.
Location – Auditorium

Cost: $10.00 per child per program. (Please make checks payable to the Lincoln After School Activities Program (LASAP).) Complete the application at http://www.lincolnschoolpto.org/files/EarlyReleaseSpring2012.pdf and return with payment to the LASAP basket in the school office no later than Friday, March 30th. Remember that there are no Early Dismissal Events on Noon Dismissal days (such as the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.)

If you would like to help, please return the completed form at the above link as soon as possible. We will need THREE (only three) parent volunteers for each date. If you help at the session, you will be refunded your child’s $10 after the show (only one child free per session). This will be a first come, first serve offer. I will contact you if you are accepted. You will need a CORI on file.

classes coming in the middle of January. Classes will start in the end of

Entertainer and magician Peter O’Malley will entertain the kids with music and mirth.

Debbie O’Carroll will wow the kids with her “Irish Magic Show” which is a combination of stage magic and theater that captivates the audience. Not to be missed!
